Is it dps or damage per hit? With razer arrows and an ancient bow I hit them for 270 damage. But here's my latest Conan Exiles. That's a bit too much work. You can just stick to Yog (Purified) Meat. It lasts very long, comes in a stack of 20, is very light (2.0 per stack), quenches thirst, fills food, heals a lot, an optimal way to refill thirst while in the cold lands (since you don't want to cool down), and is very easy to get.

Lol, saved me from having to ask or experiment to find out. Actually, with the update that is coming to the game, if they do not have any arrows equipped. They do nothing. They just stand there. This is a vid i made during a purge in TestLive. The audio is not from the game play due to an incorrect setting in my capture software. Although it might seem like second nature to a survival game veteran, Conan Exiles never mentions that your gear is going to break, and that it's going to happen fast.

In order to fix stuff, you need to keep resources in your inventory. This can be a risky endeavour though, as if you die, you'll lose not only your gear, but the items you had to fix that gear.

Due to the frequency of needing to fix things, it's good to just store some materials in a chest that you can quickly grab, repair, and then throw back into a chest. This is something that can be easily overlooked, as many other open world survival games have randomized maps. In Conan Exiles, the map never changes. This means you can study and learn it and before long, know exactly where things are or where you're heading without having to look it up. Knowing the map is particularly useful when starting up a new character.

If you've previously found a nice cave or secret area in other worlds, you can quickly run there to claim it again in this new one. Not to mention map knowledge makes finding your dead body much easier! This is pretty straight forward, but can be overlooked easily enough.

I have given all my fighters spears, as they nearly always kill the target before it can do much damage in lowland purge fights. I noticed that swords, daggers and other 1 handed weapons will often miss, as the fighters are not close enough to the mob to do damage.
